ever since i was in art school, i have been fascinated by reproduction of work almost as much as seeing them in person. so whenever i go to a museum or a gallery i buy whatever i can afford. the books themselves continue to confound me to why it is they are so seductive and i am not sure i want to find the answer completely. before i moved and put most of these books in storage i decided to make more of a color catalog than putting them in subject or alphabetical order. the black and white, of course i prefer.
